Status Gizi dan Gaya Hidup Wanita dengan Sindrom Ovarium Polikistik (PCOS) di Yogyakarta

Abstract

PCOS adalah kondisi gangguan endokrin yang mempengaruhi hingga 13% wanita usia reproduksi. Gejala metabolik, psikologis, dan reproduktif PCOS meliputi hiperandrogenisme, menstruasi yang tidak teratur, anovulasi, dan infertilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan berat badan dan faktor eksternal seperti gaya hidup, karakteristik psikososial, dan keterlibatan profesional perawatan kesehatan pada wanita dengan PCOS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analitik dengan desain cross-sectional study. Penelitian ini melibatkan wanita usia 18 hingga 40 tahun di Yogyakarta dengan diagnosis sindrom ovarium polikistik. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposive sampling, dari 105 populasi terjangkau discreening berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dan didapatkan 97 sampel. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Dietary Questionnaire for Epidemiological Studies Versi 2 (Food Frequency Questionnaire-FFQ), International Physical Activity Questionnaires (IPAQ), Depression Anxiety Stress Scales (DASS 42). Wanita dengan PCOS 68 % mengalami overweight, rerata PA 886.6 METmin, 72% mengalami stress, kecemasan dan depresi tingkat sedang, 29% mengalami gangguan tidur, 80% tidak merokok dan 94% bukan peminum. Wanita dengan PCOS memiliki tingkat status gizi tinggi  dengan gaya hidup yang tidak sehat. Perlunya terapi pendamping perubahan gaya hidup dan normalisasi status gizi.
